Infection Control Essentials: Comprehensive Beginner & Intermediate ONLINE Courses

Would you like to save valuable time while remaining fully compliant with the Australian sterilisation standards and infection control (IC) rules, regulations and continual updates?

It all starts with the basics.....

Our Beginner & Intermediate Infection Control ONLINE Courses provide essential infection control skills and knowledge that meet requirements set by the Dental Board of Australia.

These courses cover the latest information relating to Australian standards, guidelines and best practices, including Australian Sterilisation Standard AS 5369:2023.

Why do you need to continually update your knowledge around infection control?

You may have completed courses in Infection Control before and even believed all your staff are up to date with their training - but you don't know what you don't know!

We all understand the dangers of infection if we don’t adhere to the correct protocols, right? But now, working within the ‘health industry’ in Australia, infection control is no longer just about the consequences and risk of infection to patients – which is, of course, the most important issue – it is also about adhering to strict industry standards, which are continually changing.

With Australian sterilisation standard and infection control issues being regularly updated, ensuring you are fully compliant in these issues is imperative to the safety of patients, as well as adhering to strict infection control protocols in the dental industry.

Joanne Robertson - Beginner Infection Control Course

Ros takes her time to explain the vital role of ICP in dental practice. The way she has set the course out means that a diverse audience will benefit from it and it is a mix of delivery methods such as videos and charts etc which make sense. Great course, highly recommend.

What if every new staff member had an understanding of
Infection Control and Sterilisation standards
on their very first day at work?

Why not make the Infection Control Beginner Course an essential criteria for onboarding new staff? They’ll start their first day at work with an overview of Infection Control issues and basic sterilisation techniques.

These days, it’s common for new dental practice employees to have little or no previous training in the industry, so imagine what the Beginners course will do for their confidence in their new role.

You’ll also feel confident that they have a basic foundation and understanding of infection control.

So ask yourself …..

● Are you confident that you, and your team, consistently apply the latest standards in infection prevention and control, as well as the latest sterilsation protocols?
● Can you be sure your practice adheres to all health and safety guidelines during every treatment?
● When a breach in protocol occurs, is your team equipped with the knowledge to manage the situation effectively?
