Dental Practice Re-accreditation – Are you ready?

If you are a dental practice that achieved Introductory Dental Practice Accreditation back when accreditation first became available, it is time to start looking what is involved in the re-accreditation process.

The re-accreditation process is not available until 1 July 2015, yet some information can already be found on the ADA website and there are some important changes.

But, in a nut shell, here is quick summary:

    • You can now choose the audit type – desktop, telephone interview or onsite audit – which gives you flexibility to suit you
    • You can now choose the cycle length – either 3 or 4 years
    • There are some new documents required this time around

The Re-accreditation evidence summary guide is available on the member section of the ADA website.

Or alternatively, if you are feeling pressed for time and need assistance to review all your processes or develop new documentation, I am more than happy to help and look forward to hearing from you.
